Aquatics Center Information
AUGUST 30, 2010 THROUGH OCTOBER 4, 2010.
The Leisure Pool will be closed from August 30, 2010 through October 4, 2010 for resurfacing. After 10 years of wear the plaster is starting to deteriorate on the walls and floor of the pool. These repairs must be done in a timely manner to prevent further damage from occurring.
The job is extensive and as with all repairs unexpected problems may arise and cause the job to take a longer period than expected. However, we are doing everything in our power to expedite the repairs and reopen the pool as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this necessary repair work.
UPDATE 9/7/10: The demolition and initial plastering was completed during our annual shutdown week. Over the next few weeks the pool plaster must be brushed & vacuumed periodically to ensure the surface is curing properly. Everything is proceeding as scheduled and there are no delays to report. We are still looking good for our scheduled re-opening on September 5th.
UPDATE 8/13/10: We have been advised to restrict access to the Whirlpool due to the hazardous nature of the Leisure Pool resurfacing. For the safety of our patrons the Whirlpool will be unavailable 9/4 through 9/13.

STARTING SEPTEMBER 4TH OUR SPECIAL SWIM RATES WILL BE:
$8 PER PERSON MONDAY-FRIDAY
$10 PER PERSON SATURDAY & SUNDAY
This Fall during the Leisure Pool repairs we invite our patrons to take advantage of our spacious Lap Pool. Monday through Friday our special swim rate of $8 per person will be available. We are also happy to announce a NEW discounted special swim rate of $10 per person on the weekends!
Be sure to check the Aquatics Schedule for pool hours and availability. The center can be quite busy at times, so please come prepared to share the natatorium.
